8.18.2007 (Sat) Reviewing & Getting into Flow
Before I resume writing a paper, sermon, or article, I need to review the overall flow of the piece so that I need to understand where I left off the last time I wrote on it. Without reviewing and understanding the flow of the piece, I feel disjointed and direction-less in my writing. I need to keep constant awareness of how the piece is flowing in order to maintain maximum flow.

8.10.2007
As I am writing my introduction, I have a "nudge" that I really need to imitate the writings in the History of Education Journal articles. I had this "nudge" before, but like with many of my creative ideas, they fade away with lack of attention. I need to master the writings in History of Education and stop fooling around with other types of writing.
8.9.2007
Had a hard time getting things going. I tell myself I'll get going after I do a minor, small activity (such as internet browsing, TV watching, playing games...) but the distraction tends to go on--after which I may have lost most of my concentration and focus. I need to stick it and plunge ahead.
